Rock On events this year are going to be held in the Borrowdale valley close to the town of Keswick in the English Lake district. This valley is renowned throughout the country for its climbing history, and some say that hidden amongst its valley walls can be found some of the finest climbing in the world.  

Whether or not this is fact or just the opinion of the local climbing community, it is without doubt the perfect venue for this awesome challenge - climbing 240m of spectacular rock faces in just 24 hrs. Over 2 days your team will tackle a carefully chosen selection of the areas best rock climbs, which cumulatively will total 240 vertical metres.

The event will include training in the use of all equipment and coaching in rock climbing techniques. This could be immediately prior to the challenge starting, or a carefully planned course of instruction and training completed some time beforehand.

As extreme a challenge this is, we believe that with a steady head for heights, this is within the capabilities of most reasonably fit people. Looked after by our highly experienced and qualified mountaineering instructors, all that’s left for you to do is get on with the task in hand and enjoy the ultimate thrill of really being out there!
